Deep Stroke

Cerebral Ischemic Strokes are a major cause of motor impairments with significant impact on patient self-sufficiency. The ability to quickly identify regions and volumes of impacted brain tissues after stroke is urgently required for patient orientation.

Using deep learning technologies, DESKi developed a solution for automated lesion segmentation in diffusion MRI.

DESKI has been working hand in hand with Bordeaux University Hospital (among the best 100 worldwide – newsweek), Pr Vincent Dousset and Pr. Thomas Tourdias, neuro-radiology department director there, to create this diagnostic tool for stroke patient orientation.
