Context: 

DESKi, “learn” in Breton, is a young and innovative company, combining a solid expertise in both echography and artificial intelligence. 

Our vision is to unleash access to cardiac care by spreading ultrasound expertise.

 

After 4 years of research, we developed real-time AI-driven algorithms able to guide operators performing cardiac ultrasound exams.

Deski is now building HeartFocus to empower any healthcare professional to accurately perform a cardiac ultrasound exam and support the interpretation of the acquired US images.

 

Having secured its financing, DESKi will start commercialization in 2024 after the attainment of FDA and CE certifications.

Mission :

As a C++ Software Engineer within the DESKi development team, you will contribute to the following projects:

  • HeartFocus mobile application: We’re developing this application for Android & iOS using the C++/Qt/QML stack

  • C/C++ SDKs integrating our AI based algorithms: We offer third parties to integrate our technologies in their software products by using our SDKs

  • Medical data acquisition software suite: We are building specific software solutions using C++/Qt/Python to acquire data to train our AI algorithms

 

The team's development practices are open to evolution; we are dedicated to improving the quality of the software produced every day.

The HeartFocus application aims to follow a hexagonal architecture, and C++ developments are most often carried out using TDD with doctest or google test.

Each team member is encouraged to contribute to technical, user, or regulatory documentation.

 

Required skills:

  • Master the CMake/C++/Qt/QML stack

  • 5 years of experience in software development

  • Writing unit tests, integration, an end-to-end testing

  • Cross-platform development for Android/iOS/Linux/Windows

  • Professional written and spoken English

Appreciated Skills:

  • Software architectures such as hexagonal or MVVM

  • Knowledge of software development in a regulated environment (IEC 62304 or other)

  • Python 3.8+
